Hello Everybody!

I'm so glad to be back. Beginning Sunday evening until Tuesday evening I drove over 860 miles. I know to a long distance truck driver that's not much, but to a lady that's knockin on the door of 60(OUCH!) it's a lot. My word, that sounds soooo very old!!!

My only brother and his wife are moving out of state and we volunteered to transport a car in the beginning, but it ended up being both cars because of her heart attack.

It is done and I slept so hard last night the neighbor's dogs didn't even wake me. Guess I need to drive 286 miles everyday so I'll be so tired I don't hear them.

Tool man was in the kitchen fixing our breakfast this morning and I walked to the front door when I made my appearance and noticed it had rained overnight. I called out, "Well, we got some rain last night."

He answered, "What am I doin? I'm cookin some turkey bacon."

I got so tickled cause at that moment I realized just how bad his hearing is and then I realized we're just plain getting old.

A sense of humor is a must as you age in this lifetime. Get ready all you youngins, cause you'll be there one day too.

I have to admit, I don't hear as well anymore either.
