Does anyone else have goofy dreams or just me????? Now I'm involving my husband in my nightly wanderings.
Oh, I don't just dream, I get up and act them out.
I used to do this when I was a kid, but now I'm doing it again. I even remember doing most of it the next morning. Let me tell you about last night.
I remember thinking I hadn't locked the doors before I went to bed. Usually there is a fear connected to my sleepwalking and of course I woke tool man and asked him to accompany me to check the doors.
Funny thing is, I remember him getting up and following me, but then somewhere I lost him and he was already back in bed when I returned. Now that's the scary part! I wonder where I went because there are blanks in my conscious memory.
We were driving back from the country cemetery awhile ago and I grinned and ask him if he remembered my goofy dream last night. He gave me a half-smile and said, "No."
That put me to thinking. I think he thought he did a potty run, but he actually looked at me and agreed to go with me. Anyway, I think that's the way it was????
This sleepwalking is tiresome. I think that's why I'm so tired some mornings. Poor tool man has to act out my dreams with me, so I usually let him catch a nap sometime during the day.
Goofy? Crazy? Nuts? I choose to think I'm so intelligent my brain just can't shut down. Yeah right!! I'm chuckling too. My family used to laugh at me when I was a kid, now I laugh at myself.
Good thing I've got a sense of humor and very little money or someone would probably lock me up.
Until Later,
Okie Girl @ Home
