By the Light of the Moon

Hi Everyone,

I just returned from the country cemetery where my dad is buried. I read the local newspaper this morning and they reported that the cemetery had been vandalized.

God spared my family

Just one chip on the headstone

This is some of the sand and dirt from the concret flower pot they used to

cause damage to other markers

Like I said, minor damage to my family's stones, but

others were destroyed

We came back to town and visited with Craig county sheriff and under sheriff. I explained what I would like to see happen when they catch the culprits. He said that's the time to send the judge your statements. I agreed to be ready and willing to do it, so now it's a waiting game.

I think the Bible says to make sure your sins will find you out, so whoever you are, get ready to pay the penalty for your needless desecration of those graves. God does know everything. The wonderful thing is He forgives. I do too, but it just takes me a bit longer. 

While I'm about it, I'm going to share some gorgeous pictures of the moon I snapped a few nights ago. This is a more peaceful subject.

the beauty of the white, shining orb.

Some clouds obscured the brightness 

Lighting up the clouds drifting close by.

We just don't appreciate God's handiwork enough

I'm guilty of this a lot

Now this is what they call the "money shot"

Didn't get no money though, but I'm sharing.
