Doggy No No!

Hello World!

So far it's been a busy week and looks like it's gonna pretty much stay this way. This morning we are trying to go to Welch, Oklahoma to put some campaign signs out, but we've been sidetracked.

First thing this morning our sweet little Miley, (picture below) had to have some disciplinary action. She wouldn't go outside because the grass was wet with dew. so instead of using her pee pee pad in the utility room she made a statement. Yes, she did. She tinkled right behind my chair, but ohhhhhh she got caught red handed by "Dad", aka tool man.

This was taken at a happier time

Dad had to swat her, but she's mad at me. She is now confined to the kitchen for the day. I'm not sure that's really punishment cause I stay in that room most of the time. She won't be going bye-bye today. Unfortunately that's one of her favorite things to do. No treats for the day and no bits of food while we eat. Poor thing will have to eat her expensive dry dog food.

She is probably going to call the ASPCA and complain. I guess that's kinda like the doggy union? Dad's already having guilt problems and sympathy pains. Every time he goes to get a cup of coffee, he tells her how she has to learn not to do bad things like she did.

Yeah right! She's just over two years old, you think that wasn't intentional to inflict emotional stress? She knew we were going somewhere because we were both up and dressed early.

Another happier time, waiting on Dad to go get a newspaper

She did beg to go outside, but wouldn't respond when I called her back in. We had to physically go retrieve her from the yard and she turned her head away when tool man handed her to me. I think she must get this trait from her Dad, certainly I don't act this way at all. Uh, hum. I seem to have a frog in my throat.

As I'm sitting here she's looking at him with soulful sad eyes and he's asking her if she deserves to be set free. I had to step into the fray and say, "NO".

Isn't this adorable?

She's crunching dry dog food right now and making darn sure I see her do it. OMG! This dog is a trained, cunning, master at psychology!

Yep, doesn't look like she has a spiteful bone in her body does she?

We'll see who's will is the strongest.

Until Later,

  1. Well little Miss Miley got in trouble, poor little thing. She just didn't want to get her little feet wet. Sounds kind of like she's strong willed and little high strung. Wonder where she gets that from? I'm betting she gets her way in the end. If not let me know, I want to see if I'm right or wrong. And how in the world could Tool Man give that little bitty thing a spanking? I love that itty bitty baby doggy!!

    1. We stayed strong, but gave in a little. She is now asking to go outside regularly. Thank you, we love her too.
