Hi Neighbors,
I'm doing a quick update as I have more information about the dog that attacked the little girl. The dog was euthanized Wednesday evening. That's one down and I'm sure many more to go. Don't get me wrong. I like animals, but I'm totally against vicious ones that create fear and intimidation.
Why do people want to own animals that can't be controlled? Who are they trying to scare? Guess What? It's usually the innocent people that end up being hurt. I have been assured that the council and Mayor are going to address the ordinance and try to make it more stringent for owners of dogs that are vicious.
My next project is about prettying up our town. I want to encourage everyone to take pride in their homes and yards. Let's put our pretty foot forward so when people visit our town we can be proud, not ashamed. Whether you rent or own let's make an effort to clear out the non-essential items from the front and back yard. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you are unable to do it alone. As neighbors we should be helping one another.
