The world is right now. I had a hair cut. A good hair cut. Everybody knows it feels great to get a good hair cut. Guess I can stop now, huh????
Some of the family got lucky and went on a vacation last week.
No, it wasn't me or tool man. We kept the home fires burning.
This is a memento brought back for tool man.
I laughed too.
He mumbled something about being as funny as a crutch.
Miley heard us talking about vacations and she misunderstood
and thought they were taking her with them.
She kept looking out the window, waiting on them to come pick
her up. She really thought she was going on vacation.
I tried to distract her by calling her to lunch.
She ask me to bring her lunch to her cause
she didn't want to miss them when they came by.
She ate her lunch, then took up her vigil again.
They never showed up. I had to break it to her gently.
I thought she accepted the disappointment real well,
until I caught her in the bedroom later. She was writing out
names on paper and putting them on grave flowers.
I didn't say a word to Miley, but I did warn the family before
they came home. I didn't know she could spell that good.
Part of this tale is true and part of it is purely a tall tale that Miley told me to share with y'all.
Until Later,
Okie Girl @ Home
